The Linvill family and staff are committed to our community and doing our part to prevent the spread of coronavirus (COVID-19). The health and safety of our employees, guests, animals and community continue to remain our top priority.
The fall season is quickly approaching, and our management team has been diligently working on plans to continue to operate safely. The safety of our customers and staff continues to be our deepest concern as we plan to welcome more guests for the fall season and our popular Pumpkinland. We have invested in a timed-ticketing software package for hayrides and activities which will allow us to better regulate the timing of visitors to the farm. However, this will not keep us from needing both our customers and staff to assume responsibility for safe-distancing and safe-practice. We have increased our custodial staff ten-fold to address the necessary sanitizing required. Additional staff will also be in place to regulate customers in each area of the farm so that safe distancing can be maintained. Masks will be required by all guests over the age of two – no exceptions.
At this time, our Farm Market & Garden Center is open daily 9 am – 6 pm with the hours extending at the end of September. We have been and will continue to monitor and limit the numbers of customers at one time for safe shopping. With that said; please be advised that we will limit shopping in our Farm Market to 2 family members per family. We have arranged the Market to provide a wider-walkway, single-direction movement through our store. Although we can no longer accommodate curbside pick-up orders, a delivery service is available for customers for both the Garden Center and Farm Market. Please visit our Farm Market or Garden Center page for more information.
Pumpkinland will take center stage starting Saturday, September 12th and will be open daily 9 am – 6 pm with hours extending at the end of September through October. Our wonderful Pumpkinland creations will still be available for you to view as well as piles of beautiful pumpkins and fall décor to purchase. Sadly, for safety reasons we have made the tough decision to remove all photo face boards for this year. We understand that this is an annual photo for many families and apologize for the inconvenience.
One of the most treasured activities at Linvilla in the fall is a hayride. To offer our guests the opportunity to take a hayride and remain safe, we have established a timed-ticket procedure. It is our hope that this will better manage when you visit the farm and it will also cut down on lines. We are reducing the numbers of people allowed on each wagon. Families will be grouped together with space between each group. And of course, masks will be mandatory. More information on our new online timed ticketing is available on our Pumpkinland page.
If taking a hayride with other guests makes you uncomfortable and you want to be able to enjoy your favorite fall activity, consider reserving your own group hayride with friends and family. Reserved Group Hayride Options are only available if you book them in advanced. See our Reserved Hayrides page for more information.
Another favorite fall activity is Pick Your Own Apples. We ask that while you are picking to be considerate of other families and self-socially distance while out in the orchards. All guests over the age of 2 are required to wear a mask while visiting. For more information please visit our Pick Your Own page.
Fishing is another safe and fun outdoor activity that is open daily. For safety precautions we are limiting it to 70 fishermen per day. Cones have been placed every 10 feet around the pond and we are asking for 1 fisherman per cone. Families that live together are welcome to stay together while fishing. See our fishing page for more details.
Ship Bottom Brewery Beer Garden is open weekends at Linvilla! They have established health and safety guidelines along with a social distance program and contact-less environment for your safety. Visit the Beer Garden page for more information.
Our Picnic Grove will be reopening Saturday, September 12th with newly painted picnic tables which facilitate cleaning and sanitizing. We ask that you be courteous to other guests and limit your time spent at the tables as they will be limited this year. As a friendly reminder, we do not allow birthday parties or large group gatherings on the property utilizing the picnic tables. We will be strict with this rule and will ask you to leave. If interested in having a group gathering or a birthday party at Linvilla we require you to book one of our packages.
