If I were to close my eyes and think of fall, the first thing that would come to mind would be color. The trees with their brilliant reds, yellows and oranges would paint the backdrop. The beautiful blue skies would be filled with geese falling in formation while squawking loudly to each other. The air would be crisp with distant smells of apples and cinnamon. Children would be playing in leaf piles, dressed in sweatshirts and jeans. And gardens would be overflowing with Chrysanthemums in every color!
Chrysanthemums, a hardy perennial, are the quintessential autumn flower. Their prolific decorative blooms are known to last long into the season; most surviving a light frost. They come in an expansive array of colors from the many golden tones to the deepest reds and purples and pretty much anything in-between. Commonly known as mums (a much friendlier spelling), Chrysanthemums can create color and warmth to a fading garden or a blank doorstep. When added to a hay-bale with pumpkins, you magically create the most perfect autumn scene.
Chrysanthemums are easy to plant and require little care. You can plop them in a planter, plant them directly into the garden or be creative and plant them into a hay-bale. Come visit us at the Garden Center where you will find a massive variety of brilliant Chrysanthemums to add some color to your world.

Larger than life figures & scarecrows illustrate the legends and lore of the harvest season, local history & some of the many stories of pumpkins & apples. Over 100 tons of pumpkins on display!
Hayrides to the Friendly Witches House
5:30PM to 8:30PM
Take a hayride to visit the friendly witches house! She will tell you a story, crack jokes and give all of the kids a treat! The hayride ends at a campfire where you can roast some marshmallows and enjoy a sample of our Apple Cider.
